Grapes from vines that freeze naturally in the fall, which requires outdoor temperatures to remain around -8 to -10 °C for several hours. The berries are harvested at night and pressed very slowly while frozen, resulting in a noble sweet, high-predicate wine whose fine fruitiness often hints at the grape variety. Due to its creamy texture, balanced sweet-acid play, and aromas ranging from blossom honey to orange zest, Anton Bauer Eiswein is an elegant companion for duck and goose liver, creamy desserts, and mature white and blue cheeses.
